This series of 27 pictures showing the Moon’s changing, nightly phases, took me 11 months to accomplish. They were shot with a 5” Astro-Physics refractor, sometimes on a Losmandy G-11 mount, sometimes on a beautiful, hand crafted “portable” wooden mount made by Joe Castoro. It was a pretty straight forward assignment, except when I started getting down to the last few “pieces of the puzzle”. If it was cloudy, hazy, or anything less than “crystal clear skies”, I’d have to wait an entire month for the next available chance.
