Late one summer evening I saw this lady and her child climbing the final steps before the big cross. Quite a dramatic sight! The child, not even looking at the inhumanly large cross looming behind him, the mother almost resigning to let go of his little hand. “The Offering of the Child Jesus in the Temple”.
